Players could spend in-game currency to unlock new outfits, go to like Las Vegas and the Cruise, and compete to become the most fashionable and popular "It Girl" among friends. The game had a unique blend of dress-up mechanics, light RPG elements, and social competition, offering a fun and stylish escape for fans of fashion. Whether it was saving up for the perfect outfit or checking the leaderboard, It Girl had a vibe that stuck with its fans. In 2012, CrowdStar shifted its focus to mobile platforms, ending development on Facebook titles while continuing to maintain existing games. It Girl remained playable for a while longer, but was officially shut down on November 30, 2013.
