Futurama: Game of Drones is a match-four-game based on the Futurama animated TV series. Gameplay wise it resembles Candy Crush Saga, and has distinct levels with different goals. Some levels require removals of a given number of colored blocks within a limited number of turns. There are several special blocks which has some impact on the gameplay. Most of these are harder, or impossible to remove from the game, and this makes the levels harder to finish. To balance this there are numerous power-ups. Some are available when more than four drones are matched together. Others can be bought with an in-game currency. The player also takes control of a character from the Futurama-universe, which has its own power. This power can be used a few times on each level. There are a few cut-scenes between some of the levels. They appear like a slightly animated comic book, where all dialog is told through text bubbles. A few lines of dialog are however played as sound effects in each level.
