Glypha III is in many ways a clone of the arcade classic Joust, but features several innovations. As in joust, your character flies through a fixed screen and must hit flying enemies while positioned higher than them in order to kill them. If she comes in too low, she will die. The character designs resemble hieroglyphics, the enemies are sphinxes and it set set in an Egyptian temple. The major change from Joust is barriers that open and close, changing the shape of the playing field, including lava appearing under the floor.
